Riekonlinna Hotel - Saariselka

This is a welcoming hotel which offers high standard of accommodation in an appealing location.

Hotel bedrooms are medium sized, designed in typical modern Scandinavian style and are in good condition. Rooms to the rear of the hotel have balconies that overlook a scenic pineforest. Blue and light pine, bright curtains of northern lights colours, large picture frames.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor just off the lobby. It is a large room decorated mainly in pink with rustic-style pine furniture. There is normally a large and sumptuous buffet.

Although the lobby area is small, the pine and pastel shades with which it is decorated emit a bright and airy atmosphere. There is limited seating in the adjacent hotel bar which also features a roaring log fire.

It has been constructed using modern materials, although the design still retains a traditional look, being best described as chalet style in architecture.
