Introduction to Kotka, Finland
The town of Kotka is situated in Finland’s Kymenlaakso region, in the province of Southern Finland. It is only a moderate sized city but is the largest and most important settlement in Kymenlaakso. Despite its size, the city’s status as centre of Kymenlaakso has seen the development of an exciting array of attractions and hotels in Kotka.
