Introduction to Imatra, Finland
The town of Imatra is an eastern Finland settlement located close to the Russian Finnish border. Laying some 200kms from the capital of Finland, the city of Imatra is one of eastern Finland’s quiet gems. It is positioned near the Russian town, Svetogorsk, and welcomes only a small number of tourists each year. As a result, hotels in Imatra are not abundant.
