Akas Hotel - Akaslompolo

Located just 500 metres from the village centre, the Akas Hotel features a locally popular bar, restaurant, dance floor and night club. It gives guests access to miles of great cross country ski trails. There is a free, regular ski bus taking guests to the main lifts. In the main restaurant, the emphasis is on traditional Lappish cuisine with reindeer and game, often with dancing and shows in the evenings. Also two bars and a terrace. A very spacious area of light wood under the chalet roof.

The lobby is medium sized with a boutique for clothes and a souvenir shop. It is of light wood with red curtains, stone floor, and it is dimly lit. There is also a comfortable lobbybar.

The hotel is a group of three typical lappish style wine red/dark orange -wood buildings with black chalet roofs.
