This development is being viewed as the first step towards developing a more comprehensive state-sponsored arts scene in Fiji. Orchid Island Cultural Centre: located 10kms outside of Suva, this intriguing cultural centre is a microcosm of Fijian crafts, cultures, flora, fauna and lots more. The highlight is the 50-foot-high Pagan temple, a recreation of the sites at which human sacrifices were previously made.
