Still, the airport is set to expand further with plans afoot to develop more over the next 20 years. Nadi is the main hub of Air Pacific, an airline whose main investors are Air New Zealand and Qantas of Australia, with connections that fly mostly to both of these countries along with Japan, Canada, USA (including Hawaii), Tonga and Samoa.
Other carriers that fly to Nadi including Korean Air, New Zealand Airlines and Virgin Blue among others also connect to other destinations including Incheon in South Korea, Vanuatu and the Solomon islands.
Terminal facilities at Nadi are comprehensive. Banking services include a branch of the Australian bank ANZ in departures along with numerous foreign exchange kiosks. A parents’ room, 24-hour left luggage facilities and porter services are also available.
The selection of duty-free shops and other outlets is small but complete; while the choice of places where you can get something to eat or drink is very good and include a pizzeria, samosa eatery, coffee shop and other cafes.
