Introduction to Nadi - Airport
Nadi International Airport is the South Pacific republic of Fiji's biggest air gateway, located on the west side of Viti Levu Island. As well as receiving domestic arrivals, it receives direct flights from Australia, New Zealand and the US. The airport provides arriving passengers with convenient access to fabulous palm-lined sandy beaches, diverse activities and cultural sites. There are a number of Nadi Airport hotels which make for a great stopover for arriving passengers travelling farther afield on Viti Levu or catching ferries to offshore islands such as the Mamanuca archipelago. Holidaymakers choosing to stay near the airport have a choice of venues within walking distance of Nadi Bay Beach. The beachside area has a good selection of eateries and visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the balmy waters.
