The terminal is a major hub for low-cost airline Ryanair as well as Aer Lingus, the national carrier. Those arriving from destinations in Africa, Asia, Australia and the US will have to change in London before catching a connecting flight to Dublin.
Facilities at the airport are good and include over 25 shops, bars and cafes, with fast-food chains such as McDonalds providing quick and convenient bites. There are bars offering pub lunches and of course a pint of Guinness, while bakeries abound offering a range of savoury and sweet snacks.
