Introduction to Galway City - Airport
The main gateway to Ireland's fastest growing city is Galway Airport, situated less than seven and a half kilometres north of the city of Galway, in the nearby community of Carnmore. Approximately 160,000 passengers used this airport in 2010. The airport supplies direct flights to Dublin, Ireland's capital, as well as Manchester, Edinburgh, Waterford and two London airports.
