Introduction to Dublin City - Airport
The Irish Republic capital city, Dublin, is served by Dublin Airport, located 10kms to the north of its downtown district. Aer Lingus, the Irish national carrier, provides flights to and from a number of European and US cities, with budget airline Ryanair offering low-cost, no-frills flights across regional European business and holiday destinations. The airport’s two terminals provide all the usual traveller facilities such as eateries, fast-food outlets, bars and coffee shops as well as duty-free outlets and shops. Efficient Aircoach bus services link the complex with the city and Dublin Airport hotels, many of which are located to the south of the downtown district. Taxis and local bus services are also available outside the Arrivals exit, as are hotel shuttles.
