Getting There

Getting to Windsor
By air: overseas visitors will probably arrive at either Gatwick or Heathrow airports. If you are staying in London then you can arrange a daytrip or short break to Windsor by rail or bus.
By car: if you are driving from London, follow the M4 motorway west and exit at junction 6, near Slough. If you are coming from Maidenhead or Staines, take the A308.
By bus: National Express has a comprehensive schedule to Windsor and nearby towns. There are several services every day departing from Hyde Park Corner in central London. The journey time is approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes and it is slightly cheaper than the train.
