The highlight of the church is the Lantern Tower, which has stood the test of times for more than five hundred years. Newcastle's Laing Art Gallery: displays an impressive collection of masterpieces from contemporary European artists. The Newcastle Hancock Museum: boasts interesting exhibits of fossilised animals and human remains as well as Egyptian mummies. It’s one of the best natural history museums in the UK.
