Take a cruise: a wonderful way to see the city’s attractions is to take a cruise around the Castlefield area. Along the way you’ll see many of the highlights of the city’s historic past and dynamic present.
Take the family to Chester Zoo: just a short drive from Manchester, this place is particularly popular with children, but is an excellent facility that’s sure to please the entire family. You’ll find more than 5,000 animals at the zoo, including elephants, lions, monkeys and tigers.
Take a guided tour of the famous Boddington Brewery: for those who enjoy their beer and have a bit of curiosity about how it’s made, this is a great place to visit. At the end of the tour, you’ll be invited to enjoy a pint or two in the brewery’s popular public house.
Make sure to see the Manchester United Museum: an expedition to the stadium will include a visit to the museum and Trophy Room, where you’ll get to see more than a century of Man U’s football history at Old Trafford.
Do something a bit different: and make a visit to the Hack Green Secret Nuclear Bunker. This is undoubtedly one of the Manchester region’s most unusual attractions for visitors to tour.
