Eating Out

Eating Out and Dining Guide to London
There are now thousands of good eateries catering for all budgets and tastes. The incredible diversity means that you can find everything from Burmese to Argentinean and Nepalese to Vietnamese.
Good restaurants can be found almost everywhere, but there are certain districts that stand out. Soho is one of the top nightlife spots and is full of good cafes and restaurants, tightly packed into a small and atmospheric area.
Chelsea and Fulham tend to cater for its wealthy residents so expect to pay top prices if you choose to eat here. Meanwhile, Shoreditch is at the other end of the scale and has several excellent and inexpensive Vietnamese restaurants. Covent Garden is another trendy area popular for its nightlife and good eating.
Local cuisine

Traditional English cooking has made a come back, and some of the better London restaurants offer some surprisingly good variations and improvements on English dishes.
