The city has plenty of bars and pubs to choose from. Some of the better choices include the Dorset, on North Road; Koba Bar, on Western Road; and Brighton Rocks, at Rock Place, in Kemp Town. Clubs that are popular and have shown staying power include Concorde 2, Ocean Rooms and Audio.
If you’re interested in live music, the scene in Brighton is excellent and features a number of very popular venues. Concorde 2 is known for rock; the Old Market features folk; and Komedia and the Brighton Dome offer up a wide range of styles and genres.
