Blackpool Travel Guide - Things To Do

Explore the Promenade: there are quite a number of attractions that are spread out along the promenade – which can be best appreciated while enjoying a ride on a horse-drawn carriage.
Ride the Blackpool Tram: this is one of the best ways to see all of the attractions the resort town has to offer, and is one of the highlights of a visit to Blackpool. The tram runs up and down the promenade for 12 miles, making stops all along the seafront.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach: features plenty of amusement park rides, including the tallest rollercoaster in Britain: the ‘Pepsi Max Big One’. There are other rollercoasters at the park as well, including the ‘Big Dipper’ and the ‘Irn Bru Revolution’. If you purchase an admission wristband online in advance, you’ll save a few pounds on the overall cost of your visit.
Sea Life Centre: located on Blackpool's Golden Mile, the centre is home to some very interesting and educational underwater exhibits. You’ll find more than 50 displays here, comprising both fresh- and salt-water species, such as piranhas, rays, seahorses and sharks.
The Sandcastle: is a tropical indoor playground that’s unique to Blackpool. The Sandcastle is actually a huge water playground that’s authentically landscaped with large palm trees and many exotic tropical plants, making it a pleasant place for the family to spend some time together.
