Introduction to Weston super Mare, England
The seaside resort of West super Mare is popular with tourists from all over the UK and the rest of Europe. As much of the town's industry is focussed on the tourism trade, there are many hotels in Weston super Mare, as well as pubs and bars. The expansive beach is perfect for sunbathing during the summer months and water sports, such as jet skiing, swimming and windsurfing, are also a common sight. The town boasts a blend of Georgian and modern buildings, with many landmarks both old and new to tour. Most of the tourist attractions are located on the coastal side of town, including the Helicopter Museum, the Grand Pier and the ever-popular North Somerset Museum. The Wheel of Weston Ferris wheel and the SeaQuarium are also both entertaining and popular with family groups. When the weather is pleasant, many flock to the outdoor swimming pool of Tropicana, which sits upon the seafront looking out to the pier.
