Introduction to Watford, England
Watford is positioned at the point where the M1 joins up with the M25 and the Outer London area. As such, it’s an ideal place to stop on the journey north or use as a base for trips into the capital. Hotels in Watford are very much geared towards the traveller and the motorist. Inexpensive hotels are close to the motorway network offering simple room only accommodation, but there are hotels in Watford which are full service properties with a good range of facilities. With such a prime position, most of the major operators have a presence and are one of the Watford hotels. There are few attractions in the town of Watford itself. There is a museum but even that has some reference to the towns position in relation to the road connections in the area with a segment dedicated to Watford Junction. Watford is perhaps a place to stop for a short break before heading on to the final destination.
