Lobby:

The reception area is small and functional. All guests have to report to reception on arrival to check-in and collect the keys. Access to the apartments and bedrooms can be either through the reception area or directly via the nice courtyard. Note that the courtyard gates are closed every day at 8:00 p.m. for security reasons.

Exterior:

The building is part of the historic 'Brewery', founded by Samuel Whitbread in 1750. It's a restored period brick building with a quiet courtyard in keeping with the surrounding buildings.
