Introduction to Stockbridge, England
Stockbridge is quaint little town in southern England, in Hampshire. Branches of the River Test flow through the town, even under the High Street, and the banks are wonderful to explore on foot. The most famous attraction in Stockbridge is the Museum of Army Flying. It showcases British history of flying, dating back to the 1880s, and has a marvelous collection of army aircraft, gliders and helicopters. For a bit of tranquility and outdoor fun, head to the Houghton Lodge Gardens and Hydroponicum, nestled right on the River Test. It boasts 12 acres of pristine gardens, including a wonderful kitchen garden with a large variety of herbs. Stockbridge hotels are located in the town centre and visitors can find inns and bed and breakfasts on the outskirts of the town. Access to the town is easy via the A30 or the A303 roads. There is no train station in the town; the closest largest city with a rail station is Winchester, located six miles southeast.other spellings: stocbridgehotels, otel stockbridge, stockridge hotell, stockblige hotes, stockbide
