Introduction to Stamford, England
Stamford is a beautiful town in Lincolnshire, easily accessible via the A1 of the A16 roads or via the town's rail station. Stamford hotels are located right in the town centre or on the other side of the River Welland. The main museum in town is the Stamford Museum, which showcases local history as well as a changing exhibit. Strolling around the town on foot is a must. The Great North Road is flanked by beautiful historic buildings and is home to the architecturally stunning St Martin's Church. One of the town's best examples of Elizabethan architecture is Burghley House, located off St Martins Without on the southern side of the town. This stunning house dates back to the mid-16th century and its frontal facade is absolutely breathtaking. The house is surrounded by manicured lawns and gardens, which are well worth exploring. For evening entertainment, head to the Corn Exchange Theatre Company, built on an actual old Corn Exchange! This 400-seat venue hosts theatre productions, musicians and much more.other spellings: sanfordhotels, otelin stnford, stanord hotell, stanfrd hote, stanfod hotes, stanforred
