A small market town in western England, South Molton is quiet place to get away for the weekend. South Molton hotels are all located centrally, along East Street or the B3227. Visitors can choose from large inn-style hotels and bed and breakfasts. The area around South Molton is beautifully rural and horseback riding is a popular pastime. Those interested in doing some riding should head to West Anstey Farm Stables. Children will enjoy visiting Quince Honey Farm and learning how honey is made, as well as Exmoor Zoological Park, located just south from the town centre, along South Street. The zoo is a major conservation park and here children can learn about endangered species and even touch some of the animals. A nice family day out is also Watermouth Castle and Exmoor National Park.
