Introduction to Scarborough, England
Scarborough is an old-style seaside resort on the east coast of England, where many Brits still go to enjoy the brisk air and the local amenities reminiscent of years past. One of the best natural attractions in the area is the rugged Yorkshire coastline, a dramatic stretch of sea and rock that rarely fails to inspire. Visitors can venture along the coastal path where a refreshing breeze is almost guaranteed to go with the striking views. Scarborough hotels are mainly gathered along the sea front and in the town centre, though further out of town visitors will find lovely accommodations that were once the homes of Victorian gentry. The town was originally an important health spa destination, so naturally there are plenty of relaxing spas in and around the town. The beaches in the area are good, and like a few other English seaside towns, there is a lift to transport beachcombers up to the street level.
