Introduction to Saint Just, England
Saint Just is a civil parish and town in Cornwall, in far southwestern England. Its most spectacular attraction by far is the 15th century medieval St Just in Penwith Church. The fine edifice made of granite and limestone was bequeathed by Sir John de Beaupre to Glasney College in 1355. It is believed to contain the remains of St Justus the Martyr. Another fine attraction here is Market Square, which is good for watching the comings and goings of the townspeople. Saint Just hotels for all budgets can be found here, with many quaint and lovely inns to choose from. Nearby Saint Just town are the settlements of Trewellard, Pendeen and Kelynack. The centre of Trewellard is a conservation area that protects it from the incursion of modern architecture. Near Pandeen is the handsome and whitewashed Pendeen Lighthouse, a terrific attraction in its own right. Saint Just has fewer than 5,000 residents.
