With a population of just over 10,000, the small town of Ross on Wye, on the River Wye, is located in southwest England. Set against a backdrop of the rolling green countryside, and the gateway to the Forest of Dean, the town features a myriad of historic buildings including the 17th century Market House, where a twice weekly market is still held, and the 700-year-old St Mary's Parish Church, with its churchyard and Plague Cross.
