Introduction to Padstow, England
The north Cornwall fishing village of Padstow has traded in much of its seafaring industry for tourism. Visitors flock to this charming hamlet in the south-western corner of England throughout the year to soak in its classic maritime atmosphere and enjoy some of the UK's finest seafood. Visitors generally book themselves in for the weekend at one of the many Padstow hotels and inns, while making sure to indulge in some five star cuisine at celebrity chef Rick Stein's restaurant. With a dozen beaches and even a surf break or two, the summer months see the biggest influx of tourists. This is prime walking season and the lovely paths around the town include well-known favourites such as the South West Coast Path, the Camel Trail and the Saint's Way. The month of May sees the town's cultural event of the year; the ancient Obby Oss festival. With its well-rounded mix of wining, dining, shopping and outdoor recreation, it's not difficult to see why Padstow remains a popular UK holiday destination.other spellings: padstowhotels, padsdow otel, padsrow hote, padstwo hotell, padstaw hotle, pasdtow hotes
