Ormskirk is a small market town in West Lancashire, located in the middle of a triangle that includes Liverpool, Preston and Southport. Its historic roots can be traced back to the Norman era and beyond, with a smattering of ancient architecture to give it a classic English atmosphere. The architectural highlight here is the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul; the oldest structures in town that were built on the original site of the settlement.
