Montague on The Gardens Hotel - London

This is a pleasant hotel, situated in the heart of London.

The rooms are tastefully decorated in different colour schemes, they are in very good condition and the rooms at the back are particularly pleasant with views over the hotel's peaceful private gardens. Due to the age of the building the rooms vary greatly in size, but on average they are small. The bathrooms are also in good condition.

Breakfast is served in a light airy room on the lower ground floor which has a conservatory overlooking the gardens, there is also a bistro-style restaurant on the ground floor where guests can take dinner.

The small lobby is laid out with marble, the windows and ceiling feature heavy drapes in the same material and there is a beautiful old open fire.

The hotel was originally nine Georgian townhouses which have since been joined into one building, though the original facades remain.
