The Leopold opened in June 2007 and is Sheffields first boutique hotel. No expense has been spared and this historic property offers a sophisticated setting, accompanied by good food with impeccable service - it's smart and sophisticated, yet fun and just that little bit quirky.

The 90 luxuriously appointed ensuite bedrooms and suites are a treat to behold, offering supreme comfort and class. All come with wall mounted plasma television, interactive digital channel TV, IPod docking station with radio alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilites, complimentary mineral water and designer and eco-friendly toiletries.

Dining at the Leopold can take many forms, from a simple menu in the relaxed surroundings of the large Bar/Terrace or a more formal setting in the selection of private dining rooms.

The lobby is lovely and despite being fairly small in size is modern, decorated in white with plush red sofas and minimal furnishings. The large windows from the bar area provide lots of natural light and the high ceilings of the listed building create the impression of more space.

The hotel is built on the former site of a Grade II listed Boys Grammar School. Whilst retaining 19th century elegance and architectural detail, it seamlessly integrates contemporary design.
