Hull, or Kingston upon Hull to give the city its correct name, is situated on the Humber Estuary in Yorkshire. The city’s most famous landmark is the suspension bridge, which was the world’s longest of its type when it opened in 1981. The town centre is home to several of the main hotels in Hull and they are generally well situated for easy access to the traffic-free shopping area.
