Introduction to Hove, England
Located on the southern coast of England is Hove, which neighbours the famous seaside resort of Brighton. Together the popular towns form Brighton and Hove, which attained city status in the year 2000. Despite being run down in the 1960s, the town has now become a fashionable place thus it attracts a large number of tourists, especially from around the UK, each year. The beach is particularly popular and boasts a wealth of Hove hotels. Surrounding the seafront visitors will find a great deal of trendy bars, shops and cafes, as well a good range of restaurants serving international cuisines. The Hove Museum provides tourists with an insight into the town's history and is open all year round while the Art Gallery showcases many contemporary art pieces. The main sights of the city as a whole are the pier, the Lanes shopping area and the ornate Royal Pavilion.
