Introduction to Helmsley, England
Helmsley is situated in the county of Northern Yorkshire, England. The city has been established upon the banks of the magnificent River Rye and currently supports a relatively diminutive population of only 1,500 residents. However, the annual influx of visitors to this beautiful town sees a much greater number of people populating the streets. The hotels in Helmsley are conveniently located upon both Highway A170 and High Street (which happens to be the busiest road branching off from the A170 highway). The most prominent attraction in the city is the rustic but spectacular Helmsley Castle. The castle is only a few hundred metres southwest from the downtown district of the city. The Cleveland Way National Park, which actually begins in Helmsley, attracts thousands of travellers every year while the town's outstanding market culture is a veritable tourist magnet. There aren't any railway stations or airports situated in or around this community making the A170 road the primary point of arrival for most visitors.
