Introduction to Haworth, England
The rural village of Haworth is located in the north-western regions of West Yorkshire. In spite of its small size and rural nature, it is still considered to be an important tourist destination in the Yorkshire area. It was settled in 1209 and has since been incorporated into the City of Bradford, which sits some 16kms to the east. The hotels in Haworth provide comfortable accommodation to the generally large number of visitors to the village, most of which stay for weekend or short-stay holidays. Many visitors travel to Haworth because it is the home of the famous Bronte sister novelists. However, there is also a plethora of fine attractions scattered throughout the town, including the Bronte parsonage, St Michael's Church, the well-preserved old railway station and the historic village centre. The most efficient transportation to this village is by bus from the closest town, Keighley. The arts festival held each year is, with its street performances and arts displays, another great reason to visit this charming village.other spellings: haworthhotels, hworth otel, haorth hotell, hawrth hote, hawoth hotle, haworh
