Introduction to Farnborough, England
Famous for its biennial International Air Show, the northern Hampshire town of Farnborough is in the process of major redevelopment to accommodate the vast amount of tourism growth, and is currently served by four railway stations as well as London's Heathrow, Luton and Gatwick airports. Definitely not to be missed is St Michael's Abbey, the burial place of Napoleon the third, his wife and their son. It was also home to Benedictine monks, and now houses England's most outstanding collection of Catholic books. Retail parks are scattered throughout with shops to suit anyone's needs, and fitness fanatics can easily find a leisure or sports centre. Sports fans will not be disappointed, with the Farnborough Town FC, the Rugby Club and the Cove Cricket Club all being based here. There is a vast variety of accommodation to suit every requirement, from self-catering apartments to Farnborough hotels and quaint bed and breakfasts, from budget to high-end luxury.other spellings: frnboroughhotels, phrnborough otel, farnborough hotell, farmborough hote
