Introduction to Exmoor National Park, England
England's beautiful Exmoor National Park is located on the Bristol Channel in both Somerset and Devon and is comprised of many villages, hills and moors spread across 692kms. There is accommodation in almost every village in all different price ranges, with some Exmoor National Park hotels being luxurious and award-winning. The former Royal Forest is protected from development and houses some rare flora and fauna as well as many bird and insect species. Hordes of tourists visit each year to enjoy walks along the coast, the River Exe and through the Park's forests. Woollen mills, honey farms, cider farms and vineyards can all be visited in the park as well as a large selection of museums, castles and courts. The water-powered Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway connects the two towns where the East and West Lyn rivers meet, offering a spectacular journey above high cliffs. other spellings: exmoor national parkhotels, exmour national otel, exmore park hotell, ixmooe park
