Introduction to Epworth, England
The North Lincolnshire town of Epworth was the birthplace to John Wesley and Charles Wesley so it has some claim to fame as the home of the sons of the founding father of the Methodist Church, Samuel Wesley. It is also the home to the Festival of the Plough, an annual event that brings in plenty of tourists who can choose from a good range of hotels in Epworth. The agricultural festival is celebrated in September and covers all the agricultural activities of Lincolnshire. There are vintage car shows and ploughing competitions. In the vicinity of Epworth, simple overnight accommodation is available for the traveller using the M18 and the M180 motorways. In the village centre there are pubs with plenty of character. To the west of Epworth is the larger town of Doncaster, which has excellent horse race meetings and to the east and the North Sea coast are Scunthorpe and Grimsby.other spellings: epworhthotels, otein epwotrh, epwroth hotell, epowrth hote, ewporth hotes, peworth
