De La Bere Hotel - Cheltenham

This is a very good hotel which has retained its period feel throughout. The hotel also has a pool and sports facilities.

Some of the bedrooms are located in the main house and are named after Kings and Queens of England. Other historic names can be found in some of the courtyard rooms. All rooms are en suite and have colour television, hairdryer and trouser press. The rooms are very elegant. They are medium in size and in very good condition.

The hotel restaurant offers an elegant dining experience for guests and table d' hotel menus are on offer. Guests dine under family crests on the stained glass windows.

The lobby is in keeping with the rest of the hotel, with intricate oak panelling, ornate plaster work and original fireplaces. The lobby is medium in size and has a small seating area and reception desk.

This is a Tudor manor house which dates back to the late 15th century. There is a tree-lined driveway and beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel. The hotel has a spectacular view over Cheltenham's famous racecourse.
