Crown & Mitre Hotel - Carlisle

The Crown & Mitre Hotel enjoys a central location in Carlisle. The hotel was built in 1905 on the site of the original Crown and Mitre Inn which dates back to before the Jacobite Rebellion of 1746. The Inn was demolished in 1902 to make way for the existing Hotel which took 3 years to build. it s a grand and elegant building.
