Introduction to Camelford, England
Some 10 miles north of the Cornish town of Bodmin, visitors find the pretty town of Camelford. Though the town's name is mistakenly thought by many to refer to the fabled Camelot, there is plenty of real history to make the area attractive to visitors and residents alike. The region is dotted with all manner of historic buildings, important landmarks and ancient sites, some of which date back many centuries. Visitors using hotels in Camelford often enjoy the excellent central location of the town, which affords easy access to both the Cornish coast and many attractions in the country's interior. One of the biggest regional attractions, Bodmin Moor, can be reached by road in just a few minutes. To the north, the sweeping scenery of Dartmoor National Park is also very close. For those keen on relaxing with gentle walks, a stay in Camelford makes it easy to stroll through picturesque lanes lined by a variety of historic buildings, some of which are several hundred years old.other spellings: canefordhotels, otel canelford, camelfodr hotell, camelfrod hote, camelofrd hotes
