Introduction to Brighouse, England

There are plenty of places to stay in the centre of the pleasant town of Brighouse and they offer a good location for a short break, or for business people travelling to any of the major towns in the region. Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield are all within a few miles of the hotels in Brighouse. The M62 motorway’s Junction 25 is just south of town, and a direct route to Manchester, 30 miles away. For ramblers and nature lovers, the town is at the heart of the Pennines Mountains. The Calderdale Way and the Pennine Way National Trail are both close by. Accommodation choices are scattered around town, with some in the environs of the town centre. These places are in walking range of the busy Commercial Street-Bethel Street shopping and pub precinct on the north bank of the River Calder. Brighouse railway station is just on the other side of the river.
