Introduction to Bridgwater, England
The town of Bridgwater is seven miles below southwest England’s Bristol Channel coast at Burnham on Sea. Bridgwater is in the county of Somerset and it is beside the M5 motorway, the principal route from Bristol to Devon and Cornwall. The town’s railway station is also on the main line in the same general direction. A layover at one of the hotels in Bridgwater is an attractive option for travellers from the north or east of the country. Bridgwater hotels are also a great location for enjoying the town’s charms and cultural sites. Among tourist draws here are the 13th century St Mary Magdalene’s Church, the Blake Museum, an arts centre, and a brick and tile museum. In November the town is the venue for Bridgwater Guy Fawkes Carnival, an event which attracts visitors from all over the world. In the lead up to this celebration guest houses and hotels in Bridgwater get quite full.other spellings: bridgwaterhotels, otelin bridwatre, hotell bridgwatr, brigwtaer hote, bridgater
