Introduction to Bolton - City Centre
In the Greater Manchester area of northwest England, Bolton is a northwestern suburb of Manchester. The town is close to the low-lying, foggy hills and serene reservoirs of the West Pennine Moors, which make a stunning backdrop to the historic Bolton city centre. The railway station is located right in town, and the bus service makes it easy to visit neighbouring districts and nearby cities. A stay in Bolton city centre hotels provides much to do, with a museum, art gallery and aquarium found within the Central Library, across from the beautiful neoclassical Town Hall. The famous Fish and Veg Market is just a short walk away, as is Hall i' th' Wood, an intricate 16th century manor house that has been turned into a museum. Check in at the Octagon Theatre to catch a production of a nationally renowned show. Ye Olde Pastie Shoppe is the town's prized establishment, serving pasties that are best enjoyed with a pint of cloudy cider, the local specialty.other spellings: boltoncity hotels, bolton city center, boton city hotell, otel bollton, bolton hote centre
