Belsfield Hotel - Windermere

With it's superb views across the Lake and excellent location, this is a lovely place to stay and explore the beauty of the Lake District. The hotel also has an indoor heated swimming pool with sliding roof panels to make the most of the summer sunshine and there is also a sauna and solarium.

The rooms are large and are in a good condition, tastefully and individually modernised, including 2 four poster beds. All are en-suite and all have full facilities.

The Chandelier restaurant has magnificent views: it offers an imaginative selection of traditional English and French cuisine.

The furnishings in the lobby and public areas are all traditional, and the lobby is small.

Built in 1845, the hotel is beautiful white Victiorian building.
