Barrow in Furness is in Cumbria, a county of northern England, on the country’s western coast. It is a port town on the Irish Sea, and Walney Island lies just off of the coast. Around eight miles to the north of the town is the famous Lake District National Park, which is the main reason why so many visitors to visit the town.
