Introduction to Banbury, England
Banbury, Oxfordshire, southeast England, is a town known for its markets and historical buildings, and for being one of the county’s major towns. It is surrounded by rural areas, with inhabitants of these areas coming to the town for its market and shops on weekends. Staying in Banbury is a great way to explore the county and towns and cities close by, including Birmingham, Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon. Hotels in Banbury are concentrated along Oxford Road and Southam Road, in the town centre, where the railway station, the Town Hall, shopping areas and the famous Banbury Cross are situated. Outside of the town centre, on the roads leading into Banbury, are quiet pubs and areas of little development. A local museum offer interesting insight into the history of the town while the canal is a nice spot at which to watch barges passing by. Don't forget to sample authentic Banbury cakes while here, with the recipe having originated in the town.other spellings: banburyhotels, banburry otel, banbery hotell, hotelin baanbury, banbury hotle, banburies
