Perfect budget hotel for families or friends visiting the Pleasure Beach as it is right opposite the entrance and the Big Blue hotel. This is a family run hotel and the owners do their utmost to make you feel important and at home which is a great selling feature.

The 42 en-suite rooms extend over 3 floors and are clean, fairly basic but functional. All rooms have Colour TV and tea and coffee making facilities. As the hotel is a fairly old building, the rooms do vary in size but they feel very homely and many do have lovely views of the sea and the Pleasure Beach. There are also plenty of family rooms.

The light and airy Ivy Restaurant is tastefully furnished and serves Breakfast and Dinner. The evening menu consists of simple and good quality English dishes created using fresh local produce. The Retro Bar is newly renovated and serves bar food in the evening, has modern furniture, a fabulous 42" Plasma Screen TV, a pool table and modern contemporary furniture. Top cabaret acts play throughout the Summer and this really is the hub of the hotel.

The lobby is small in size but as family run, most welcoming and there are a few comfortable chairs at the side.

This is a purpose built white building. The Albany hotel sign is a prominent feature at the front.
