Hurghada Travel Guide - Activities
Golf: golf-lovers can travel the short distances to the Steigenberger Golf Resort, the Jolie Ville Golf Resort or the Cascades Golf & Country Club, where they will find 18 holes of play available at each course. Courses are set in lush, scenic surroundings and are open to guests and non-guests of the resorts.
Spa: the majority of the city’s high-end hotel establishments offer spa facilities, giving visitors the chance to enjoy some genuine relaxation and pampering in the form of steam baths, Jacuzzis, saunas and massages. Spa facilities are generally open to both guests and non-guests, with payment being required by both.
Horseback riding: visitors prepared to travel a little to El Gouna or Sharm El Sheikh will find riding centres where professional trainers offer horseback riding courses, allowing complete novices to enjoy some time up in the saddle while appreciating the picturesque scenery surrounding the riding trails.
Off-road vehicle riding: go-karts, quad bikes and dirt bikes are all available for those feeling the need for speed. Some experience may be required for dirt-biking, however, go-karting and quad-biking can be learnt onsite in a short space of time.
