Cairo Travel Guide - Weather
Spring is a somewhat cooler albeit short season, and sees March and April and part of May experiencing temperatures from 24 to 30°C. October and November see similar temperatures. Winter is mild but by no means cold with 9°C being the average low and highs of up to 19°C, making daytimes very pleasant but evenings requiring a jacket if out and about.
The spring and autumn months are perhaps the best time to take a holiday in Cairo and anyone looking to escape a cold winter in their own country will find Cairo’s winter season an ideal refuge from the bitter weather that they might otherwise be forced to endure. Rain is rarely a source of inconvenience in Cairo, largely because there isn’t a great deal of it.
