The Steigenberger Golf Resort, Hurghada is sited just a short 3 km taxi ride from El Gouna Town, and about 25 kms from Hurghada City and Airport. This resort is considered a golfer’s paradise, as it overlooks one of the best 18 hole golf courses in Egypt. The beach, is not within walking distance but the resort does provide a free beach shuttle bus service. The Steigenberger Golf Resort has a well run, professional, relaxing spa that has a fantastic sauna, gym, steam room and hot baths. Other amenities provided include a good selection of restaurants, including a French Restaurant and a swimming pool that overlooks a lake. The large rooms are tastefully furnished and most have golf fairway views.
