Shepheard Hotel Cairo - Cairo

The Shepheard Hotel Cairo is sited near the banks of Nile River, in a city, business area. It is only 5 minutes walk to Saadat Metro Station while the Egyptian Museum is 10 minutes stroll away from the hotel. The US and UK embassies, as well as other tourist attractions, are a short walk from this property. The Shepheard Hotel Cairo offers an open air roof top cafe that has nice city and river views, and provides free wifi internet access in the lobby and some other public areas, but not in the hotel rooms themselves. This hotel has slightly old fashion design rooms, yet they are comfortable, spacious and well kept and feature big closets, a mini bar, hairdryer and comfortable beds.

The bedrooms are a good size with comfortable beds, clean and reasonably decorated. Bathrooms are large and bright. Some of the rooms face the Nile.

The restaurant and coffee shop area faces the Nile and leads off from the reception area. The restaurant is traditional Egyptian style with a very high ceiling. There is also a Chinese restaurant leading off from the main dining area and the food is good.

The lobby is of a medium size with some seating arrangements. It is decorated in marble stone and is bright.
